TynTec Shortlisted For 2006 Mobile Messaging Awards

Enterprise-quality SMS provider TynTec has been short-listed for the 2006 Mobile Messaging Awards for Best Messaging Application: Business. The award winners will be announced on May 24th at the gala dinner in London, immediately following the first day of the Global Messaging Congress.

The awards were open to companies with a suitable messaging product, service or initiative which has been launched after May 2005. TynTec put forth its' eBizSMS version 2.0 service which is a web-based service that requires minimal integration into existing back end systems and requires none of the upfront investment required by proprietary systems. TynTec's eBizSMS tool provides users with a webmail style front end via TynTec's enterprise quality SMS infrastructure, giving users access to banking-grade end-to-end security and a new level of quality in SMS.

TynTec leverages its relationships with mobile operators to offer corporates enterprise quality SMS. TynTec's deep level access to the global mobile network (known as SS7) means that it can offer secure, rapid and reliable messaging services through one single interface worldwide. In addition, this also means that enterprises can access rich data from their SMS communications, such as delivery receipts and information on the status and location of the receiving phone, through one single provider.
