Micro ATX Motherboard AIMB-560

Advantech introduces a new industrial micro ATX motherboard: the AIMB-560, featuring leading-edge performance and space-saving solutions. With a slim size of 9.6" x 9.6", the AIMB-560 delivers computing processing speeds up to 3.8 GHz. Thanks to PCI Express technology, the AIMB-560 offers high LAN performance with dual high-bandwidth, Gigabit Ethernet interfaces which offer up to 2 Gbps of throughput. These advanced features make the AIMB-560 suited for data intensive business, multimedia, and gaming applications.

Built on LGA775 architecture, the AIMB-560 supports both Intel Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors, which feature high processing speeds of up to 3.8/3.06 GHz. The AIMB-560 offers up to 2 MB of L2 cache to significantly increase processing performance. Incorporating the Intel 915GV chipset, the AIMB-560 provides a front side bus of up to 800 MHz and dual channel DDRII 400/533 SDRAM up to 2 GB. In addition, the AIMB-560 comes with onboard integrated VGA controller which shares system memory up to 128 MB and provides a graphics solution.

To augment its computing capabilities, the AIMB-560 brings exciting LAN performance, incorporating PCI Express host interfaces (PCIe x1) for dual Gigabit Ethernet interface. Utilizing high-speed serial interconnect architecture, each PCIe x1 slot eliminates conventional PCI bus bottlenecks and offers up to 500 MB/s bandwidth, almost four times as fast as PCI bus. 1-Gbps LAN is fully available. Designed with scalability in mind, the AIMB-560 satisfies industrial I/O expansion requirements for future growth. Its feature-rich I/O capabilities include three 32-bit/33 MHz PCI slots, 8 USB 2.0 ports and 4 SATA interfaces with the high-speed data transfers at 150MB/s.

The AIMB-560 offers such features as: long MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure), the watchdog timer, wide operating temperature range, and CMOS data backup. In addition, the AIMB-560 provides an interface for Advantech's SNMP-1000, an intelligent SNMP/HTTP system manager, that enables users to remotely monitor and manage the system. These outstanding features make the AIMB-560 the best choice for price, performance, and overall cost of ownership.
