Logitech Headset With Bluetooth Technology Is Shipping

Logitech has announced that the Logitech Mobile Traveler SE headset is now available. Logitech's ultra-portable headset features the company's patent-pending WindStop technology, so people can make mobile phone calls even in windy conditions. The integrated Bluetooth wireless technology in the headset provides Verizon Wireless customers a cord-free calling experience. Using integrated controls on the headset, people can adjust volume, answer and end calls - or even initiate calls using the voice-dialing feature in select handsets - without ever touching the handset.

In addition to its technology, Logitech's Mobile Traveler SE headset is stylish and comfortable. It is lightweight - weighing only 0.6 ounces - and features a comfortable over-ear design, with a cushioned ear pad that rests on the outer ear instead of inside it, and an over-ear soft bendable rubber earpiece, which comfortably and securely wraps around the ear. Logitech's flip clip design makes it quick and easy to flip the earpiece to put it on either ear. The headset offers up to seven hours of continuous talk time and 300 hours of standby time.

At its core, WindStop technology consists of a durable and porous material surrounding the headset microphone; the sound of a voice passes through the material, but disruptive air currents such as wind are blocked. Logitech headsets with WindStop technology offer exceptional wind-noise reduction without added weight or reduced battery life, traits that hamper many headsets that use DSP (digital signal processor) technology to reduce wind noise.
