IKEY Introduces the DW-860 Wireless Industrial Keyboard

IKEY has released a versatile new input device for mobile PC applications, the DW-860 wireless industrial keyboard. The DW-860 incorporates 2.4 GHz WirelessUSB technology, allowing for up to a 30-foot signal range. Because it operates using radio frequency signals, it isn't susceptible to the line of sight issues associated with infrared keyboards. It utilizes a plug and play, USB dongle that will even communicate with the keyboard through a metal enclosure. For added convenience, the DW-860 also features an integrated, 3-button HulaPoint II pointing device, eliminating the need for an external mouse. Its small footprint design and built-in mounting holes make the DW-860 suited for use with vehicles and other mobile applications.

Engineered for use in manufacturing, material handling, POS and other harsh environment applications, the compact DW-860 is constructed using a sealed, industrial silicone keypad and robust ABS polycarbonate case. Like other products in the IKEY line, the DW-860 meets NEMA 4X industrial specifications, ensuring protection from dust, water and corrosive liquids.

For keystroke security, the DW-860 comes with a convenient binding feature that locks in the keyboard's signal, allows multiple wireless keyboards to operate within the same environment and acts as a barrier from interference with other wireless devices.
