Pretec Debuts i-Disk Mobile

Pretec Electronics Corp. debuts a new USB 2.0 flash drive, i-Disk Mobile with mobile phone bridge and charger functions.

In addition to a USB 2.0 flash drive itself, i-Disk Mobile can charge/re-charge the mobile phone directly through the USB port of any PC. What is more, Pretec i-Disk Mobile acts as a data transferring bridge between the mobile phone and PC/notebook, users can upload, download or Sync the data of Phone Book, Short Message and phone call records from mobile phone to PC (or vice versa), so that backup and management of important data stored inside a mobile phone or smart phone becomes extremely easy, yet with an affordable manner to mobile users.

i-Disk Mobile has no switches or buttons on the flash drive, all data management functions are handled through mobile phone keys/buttons. i-Disk Mobile is sampling now and currently support Nokia and Sony Ericsson mobile phones with matching connector and firmware. New versions with different firmware and connector will be offered in the future to support different mobile phones such as Motorola, Samsung, Benq/Siemens, LG, ASUS, OKWAP, etc.
