Verari Supports AMD Opteron Processors Models 185/285/885

Verari Systems has announced that it will increase the company's support of AMD's dual-core chip offerings by adopting the fifth set of dual-core processors released from AMD consisting of Dual-Core AMD Opteron processors Models 185, 285 and 885. Verari Systems will offer the new processors across its entire product line, including its most recent blade server platform offering, BladeRack 2.

Verari Systems' platform-independent architecture ensures seamless incorporation of the latest in next-generation high performance technology. The Verari Systems BladeRack 2 blade server platform is one of the most power-efficient solutions available today. The system consists of 66 nodes containing 132 Dual-Core AMD Opteron processors and Verari Systems' patented Vertical Cooling Technology, which enables some of the world's fastest microprocessors to perform in one of the highest density, highest performance server environments possible.
