Alinean Launches Value Finder Sales Intelligence Software

Alinean has announced the availability of a first-of-its-kind solution that complements existing CRM solutions and sales methodologies. Value Finder is a sales intelligence software aimed at helping IT solution providers uncover the most opportune prospects and leads. Using the on-demand Value Finder software, sales and marketing professionals can identify from among 20, 000 worldwide companies the most likely prospects that match specific IT spending or financial performance opportunities, profile the companies, and obtain contacts from a database of more than 150, 000 key business and IT decision makers.

Using the Value Finder software - which includes Alinean's Value Base database - sales and marketing teams can find opportunities within 32 industry segments with specific IT spending profiles, such as higher-than-average spending, lower-than-average spending, low innovation levels, or high employee/staff ratios.

By combining the IT spending metrics within the Value Base with more than 400 financial performance metrics, business issues can be rapidly uncovered and targeted, creating a meaningful introduction for solution providers to propose solutions for specific issues - such as low earnings relative to high IT spending, slow sales growth, less-than-average inventory turns, and Days Sales Outstanding.

The integrated Value Base database of IT spending and financial performance metrics is compiled from several sources - including Alinean proprietary research, IDC, Mergent FIS and Stern Stewart. Over 400 different dimensions can be used to uncover specific opportunities and help create targeted, compelling and effective direct marketing campaigns and sales call value propositions. To make the searches easy for direct sales and marketing representatives, preconfigured profiles are provided, and easy-to-use wizards allow users to create and save profiles that are most relevant to their solutions, thereby helping to automate their searches.

Once a target list of value opportunities is created, Value Finder provides e-mail and phone contacts for key executives, and business and IT decision makers, helping the team facilitate correspondence and targeted campaigns.
