Xtenit Offers Alerting System

Xtenit has announced the release of the Xtenit Alerting System. The Alerting System, an extension to Xtenit's existing communication platform, will allow organizations to create and centrally manage customizable real-time business intelligence systems.

The Alerting System provides corporations with a centrally managed application that processes news and other content items from thousands of sources each day and delivers individualized real-time alerts to subscribers. Corporate knowledge officers and administrators can centrally control content, alerting criteria and other parameters to assure employees are efficiently informed. Advanced tracking and reporting is also available to monitor effectiveness.

Each subscriber can customize their own alert criteria based on any number of parameters or content specific criteria. The Xtenit Alerting System does not rely on keyword indexing and matching. Using Xtenit's patented filtering technology, subscribers may specify complex criteria for selecting the information that is most important to them. The result is a more refined set of alerts without redundant or irrelevant information.
