Ceon IPS Software Platform Integrated with the BEA WebLogic SIP

Ceon Corporation has announced the availability of the Ceon IPS software platform integrated with the BEA WebLogic SIP Server from BEA Systems. This new solution is designed to help bridge the gap between service creation, product marketing and service fulfillment for IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) services. The combination of Ceon and BEA software is designed to enable communications and entertainment service providers to more rapidly begin offering and processing requests for new IMS-based services, and more importantly to help reduce time-to-revenue for these new services.

BEA WebLogic SIP Server is a standards-based, carrier-grade, integrated Java EE (formerly J2EE) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) application server providing support for IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS). BEA WebLogic SIP Server is designed to help telecommunications network operators accelerate the deployment of next-generation network architectures based on IMS, and is a core component of the BEA WebLogic Communications Platform product family.

Ceon IPS has advanced product management, order management and service activation capabilities for broadband and IP-based services. Ceon IPS is designed to enable service providers to create complex and dynamic bundled product definitions, capture orders for simple and bundled products, decompose product orders into supporting services and resources, orchestrate all the activities to turn up services, and interface with IMS server and network resources to configure and activate services.
