This place of cultural and social innovation can combine activities of dissemination, production and cultural practices, commercial and market offers, even training activities. Applicants must propose an innovative concept and theme, generating activities, attractive, with a local, metropolitan and international interest, with a cultural, social and creative dimension. An emblematic station of the Grand Paris Express, the Saint-Denis Pleyel station wants to become a demonstrator of a redesigned city, geared towards its users and implementing a mix of activities. The new centrality of a changing neighborhood - where quality of life and territorial development combine with creativity, art and culture - the station aims to be a catalyst for links. Saint-Denis Pleyel station occupies a unique place in the future Grand Paris Express network: a real railway node welcoming up to 250, 000 visitors per day, it will constitute by 2024 a multimodal hub comparable to Châtelet les Halles and La Défense. The only Grand Paris Express station at the crossroads of four new lines, Saint-Denis Pleyel has been designated as an emblematic station of the network, because of the importance of its frequentation and its key role in the development of the territory it will serve.
