In line with the construction site calendar, artistic, cultural and festive gatherings are intended to unite local energies around the construction sites. These meetings, entitled "KM" - symbol of the kilometers to cover until the Grand Paris Express is put into service - bring together inhabitants, workers and living forces of the territory around popular demonstrations.
On the occasion of KM8, the Société du Grand Paris exceptionally opens the doors to the site of the future Villejuif Institut Gustave-Roussy station to celebrate the passage of the tunnel boring machines on line 14 south and line 15 south.
For local residents, residents and those curious about this major project, artistic performances accompany and highlight technical prowess such as the launch of a tunnel boring machine or the shifting of a slab, underway on construction sites, which are being transformed in festive and popular territory for an evening.

The new heart of Greater Paris.

An emblematic station of the Grand Paris Express, the Saint-Denis Pleyel station wants to become a demonstrator of a redesigned city, geared towards its users and implementing a mix of activities.
The new centrality of a changing neighborhood - where quality of life and territorial development combine with creativity, art and culture - the station aims to be a catalyst for links.
Saint-Denis Pleyel station occupies a unique place in the future Grand Paris Express network: a real railway node welcoming up to 250, 000 visitors per day, it will constitute by 2024 a multimodal hub comparable to Châtelet les Halles and La Défense. The only Grand Paris Express station at the crossroads of four new lines, Saint-Denis Pleyel has been designated as an emblematic station of the network, because of the importance of its frequentation and its key role in the development of the territory it will serve.
