Metabo HPT (formerly Hitachi Power Tools) Extends the Pneumatic A5 Series with the Launch of Pro Finish Nailers

BRASELTON, GA. (June 14, 2019) – Metabo HPT (formerly Hitachi Power Tools) today announced the new A5 series of pneumatic Pro Finish nailers including the NT50A5 2” 18-Gauge Pro Brad Nailer and NT65A5 2-1/2” 16-Gauge Pro Finish Nailer. The new A5 series gives the pros exactly what they’ve been asking for; professional finish nailers for when only the best will do.

The A5 Pro Finish nailers are outfitted with Selective Actuation switches so the users can quickly transition from sequential to contact modes. The quick release noses provide easy access to the nail chamber should a nail jam. They come with factory installed ¼” industrial fittings, and the ideal operating air pressure is 70-120 psi. Hooks are now included with the A5 series and can be mounted on the left or right side for user convenience on the jobsite. Ergonomic long-lasting non-slip rubber grips on the handles help maintain a secure hold. These nailers offer an incredible power to weight ratio and are designed to balance in the user’s hands for minimum fatigue during extended use or overhead applications.

The NT50A5 2” 18-Gauge Pro Brad nailer accepts nails ranging from 5/8” – 2” in length. The newly redesigned high-grade aluminum magazine not only provides exceptional durability, but also prevents jams caused by fastener overlap. The integrated air duster is convenient allowing the user to quickly clear any dust or debris from the work surface. The automatic dry-fire lock-out protects the workpiece by not allowing the tool to operate if there are no nails in the magazine.

The NT65A5 Pro Finish nailer drives 16-gauge straight finish nails ranging from 1-1/2” – 2-1/2” in length. It has been redeveloped from the classic NT65A3 specifically for the professional carpenter. It features Metabo HPT’s unique cylinder valve driving system. The advantage is quick response and faster action. Fabricated with industrial quality parts (no plastic) - there’s basically less that can go wrong. This added durability helps get more done with less downtime. The cylinder valve system is also self-cleaning and highly resistant to grease and grime buildup which adds to the simplified low maintenance professionals appreciate. Constructed with a high-grade aluminum and steel magazine, it delivers exceptional durability and protection against jams. The magazine also accepts three strips of nails at a time and features a locking feeder system to make replenishments quick and easy.

There is nothing better than the classics and the A5 Series Pro Finish nailers are the proof. Each nailer comes with Metabo HPT’s industry leading 5-year warranty, a hook, no-mar tip, tool bag and safety glasses. They are the ideal pneumatic finish nailers for those in the building industry who demand convenience, performance and reliability.
