SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins appoints Kash Hadipour as Vice-President and Senior Division Manager February 13, 2019 California, United States – Atkins, a member of the SNC-Lavalin Group, has hired Kash Hadipour, PHD, PE, to join its Intermodal business unit as a Vice-President and Senior Division Manager, where he will focus on growing the company’s aviation business in the western United States. Hadipour brings more than 32 years of experience as a civil engineer and transportation program manager, specializing in aviation. “Kash is an established leader in the aviation industry, with a strong track record of proven success working on complex airside, landside and terminal projects around the world, ” said Justin Jones, Intermodal Business Unit Director, SNC-Lavalin’s Atkins business. “His broad depth of industry knowledge and practical experience will be instrumental to our success as more domestic and international airports expand their facilities and services.” In his new role, Kash will work to expand the company’s aviation footprint in the western U.S. He will provide project management services and expertise to clients, while seeking new markets to enter into and grow the firm’s industry presence. In addition to his career in aviation, Kash was also an adjunct professor at the University of Waterloo in Canada, where he taught design and construction courses. He is currently an affiliate with the University of California in Irvine, where he leads a transportation design course. Kash holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sussex and a masters and Ph.D. in Civil/Transportation Engineering from the University of Alberta.
