BAM expects about €30 million additional costs for Sealock IJmuiden; outlook 2018 unchanged

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 3 July 2018 - Royal BAM Group nv will record an additional cost overrun of about €30 million on the project Sealock IJmuiden. This is BAM’s 50 per cent share of the total additional costs based mainly on the updated planning.

This amount will be included in the results for the first six months of 2018 which will be announced on Thursday 23 August 2018.

The construction of the two caissons is progressing well, with the first due to be installed in autumn 2018.

BAM expects the outlook for the full year 2018 of a pre-tax adjusted result margin of around 2 per cent, to remain unchanged.
