New colors added to high-performance cool roof product lines

New additions to the CertainTeed Solaris shingle collection color palette are providing contractors and builders alike with top-quality cool roofing solutions for their customers in the Southwestern U.S. "In an ongoing effort to offer contractors and builders more options for their customers, we have refreshed the Solaris collection to add premium and luxury options that match homeowners' color preferences," said Alex Pecora, director of residential product marketing for CertainTeed Roofing. "Solaris is now an even more outstanding value for those who want the coolest roof for their budget. Even the darker colors reflect solar energy, making them an excellent choice for those looking to make sustainable living choices."

Solaris shingles are rated by the Cool Roofing Rating Council (CRRC) and meet California Title 24 requirements for steep slope cool roofing.

The new additions to the Solaris collection are:
• Landmark Solaris - Weathered Wood, Georgetown Gray, Resawn Shake and Heather Blend
• Landmark PRO Solaris - Max Def Weathered Wood, Max Def Georgetown Gray, Max Def Resawn Shake and Max Def Heather Blend
• Presidential Shake Solaris & Presidential Shake TL Solaris - Autumn Blend and Country Gray

All Solaris shingles are backed by a comprehensive lifetime warranty, Class A fire resistance, and a 15-year 110 mph wind resistance warranty (upgrades to 130 mph when CertainTeed starter shingles and the companion Solaris hip and ridge accessories are installed).
