European Heat Pump Summit: High-calibre congress programme finalised

International heat pump experts will be gathering for the fourth time for the European Heat Pump Summit at Nuremberg Exhibition Centre on 20 and 21 October 2015, where speakers will present a large number of lectures on all aspects of industrial and commercial heat pump applications. The event will also look at application scenarios for heat pumps in housing construction, hybrid systems or the development of components and the integration of heat pumps into smart grids. In addition, the Foyer-Expo will give participants the opportunity to find out about the latest products and innovations from exhibiting companies.

"The response has been very positive, with large numbers already committing to attend this standout event for the heat pump sector in October, " says Alexander Stein, Director of Exhibitions at NürnbergMesse. At the European Heat Pump Summit, which is held in the intervening years between the Chillventa trade fair, we are once again offering visitors an exciting and interesting congress programme focusing on markets, development and heat pump applications."

The potential of heat pumps
This year, the presentations will focus on the potential for heat pumps in various markets, the usage of renewable energies connected with the application of heat pumps in nZEBs for sustainable and environmentally responsible business and the combination of heat pumps with other heating systems. The summit will also examine the development of components and products for the innovative systems of the future.
With its numerous lectures over two days, the symposium offers an extensive programme which can now be viewed online. During the summit, more than 30 prominent German and international speakers will be available to answer questions about the status quo and the future of the heat pump.

This year's thematic areas include:
Components and product development (compressors, fans, heat exchangers, controls, refrigerants)
Heat pump application in nZEB
Heat pump testing and certification
Challenges for hybrid heat pumps
Fuel-driven heat pump technology and markets
Large scale heat pumps e.g. for district heating applications

One highlight of this year's event is the heat pump programme of the International Energy Agency (IEA-HPP), which is listed in the summit programme as IEA HPP Annex. For further details of all lectures and speakers please go to: www.hp-summit.de/symposium

Foyer-Expo
The accompanying Foyer-Expo is a fitting complement to the summit and features product presentations by renowned companies and associations from the international heat pump sector.
