IranConMin for the eleventh time in Tehran

The Iranian year 1394 (the year changed on March 20th) had a promising start: The framework agreement, adopted on April 2nd with Iran by the Group 5 + 1 (consisting of the five UN veto powers and Germany) makes many companies hopeful for an early relaxation of economic relations with Iran. The construction, mining and natural stone industry could also benefit from an easing of sanctions after twelve years of negotiations. IranConMin (the international trade fair for construction machinery and mining) provides the ideal platform to now expand existing business contacts as well as to establish new ones.

"If the political negotiations turn out positively, Iran will very quickly experience a very strong demand for products and technologies to carry out construction projects and much needed modernization, which have not been able to be conducted for years, " says Peter Bergleiter, Managing Director of IMAG – Internationaler Messe- und Ausstellungsdienst, the organizer of IranConMin. "That's why it is already important for businesses to maintain contact with potential clients and to present possible solutions."

The trade fair, which will take place for the eleventh time, and annually starting in 2015, would like to invite exhibitors and visitors from October 17th to 20th to the Permanent Fairground in Tehran. The trade fair will be supported by the German Engineering Association (VDMA). Parallel to the trade fair, the Iranian mining association IranMineHouse, a longtime partner of IMAG, will be organizing an international mining congress. At this event, scientists, miners and representatives of the mining industry will discuss the latest technologies and their application in Iran.

IranConMin is the largest and most international construction trade fair in the region. In 2014, approximately 220 exhibitors from eleven countries presented their new products. Around 20,000 professional visitors came to find out about developments in the industry.
