Stone+tec in Nuremberg: the No. 1 industry gathering!

From 13 to 16 May 2015 Stone+tec Nuremberg will once again demonstrate how important it is as an information platform and meeting point for the natural stone processing sector in central Europe. From traditional natural stone and innovative materials through machines, tools, chemical care products and cleaners to gravestone and religious masonry work: the more than 400 exhibitors cover the entire spectrum of modern natural stone processing. Stone+tec 2015 will be officially launched by Hans Peter Wollseifer, President of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH).

The results of a survey about Stone+tec 2013 make clear that for exhibitors and trade visitors from the German-speaking regions this trade fair in Nuremberg is the key industry gathering. More than half of the companies polled were satisfied with their trade fair participation two years ago, with 28 percent actually rating their success as good to very good and the significance of the show for their marketing activities as important to paramount. Nine out of ten exhibitors were able to reach their most important target groups and forge new business relationships at Stone+tec 2013. At the same time, 90 percent of trade visitors indicated that they were involved in making the purchasing decisions in their company, while an equal number were satisfied with the offering at Stone+tec 2013. Not surprisingly, with almost 80 percent of exhibitors showcasing innovation or product enhancements at their booths.
High number of registrations and wide range of products on display

The forthcoming Stone+tec show also promises to be a successful event. "The current level of registrations is a positive signal for the entire industry. We are going to be welcoming more than 400 exhibiting companies from more than 30 countries to Stone+tec 2015, including numerous long-standing exhibitors and key industry players. But there are also companies who are appearing at Stone+tec for the first time, such as Heidelberg-based tile designer Enmon or Finnish machine manufacturer Kasins Oy", explains Elke Harreiß, Project Manager for Stone+tec at NürnbergMesse. "But it is not just the booths that have a lot to offer; this year's supporting programme also provides a lot of highlights and reflects above all the huge commitment by all participants. Together we are looking forward to Stone+tec 2015 and can promise our visitors an informative and exciting trade fair experience!"
ZDH President to open trade fair

Stone+tec 2015 will be officially opened by Hans Peter Wollseifer, President of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH). Following the official opening ceremony, he will visit selected exhibitors in a tour of the show along with representatives of NürnbergMesse and participating industry associations. He will then open the European Competition for Young Stonemasons at the booth of the Association of German Stonemasons (Hall 3, booth 3-139). "Skilled crafts naturally combine traditional techniques with innovations. The craft organisations are doing their utmost to also maintain and promote training in creative trades like stonemasonry and stone sculpture. They are thus providing the foundation to pass on the knowhow about the techniques used in these skilled occupations into the future. The Stone+tec trade fair is an excellent platform for doing this, " says Wollseifer.
