For four years prior to this, Mr. Edwards was Executive General Manager, Leighton Asia Limited, where he secured sustainable, year-on-year business growth and significantly enhanced shareholder returns.

Mr. Edwards holds Higher and Ordinary Certificates in Civil Engineering from Lancashire University in the United Kingdom. He is also an incorporated Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, as well as the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.

Pierre St-Arnaud is named Executive Vice-President, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), within the company's Power group, effective December 8. Mr. St-Arnaud will be based in Calgary and report to Alexander (Sandy) Taylor, President, Power. SNC-Lavalin's Power group also includes nuclear power plant (including Candu reactor technology), hydro power plant and thermal power plant businesses.

As a leading provider of services in its field, SNC-Lavalin's T&D business unit works with global clients to deliver cost-effective, sustainable and customized solutions for electrical transmission and distribution systems. This includes consulting services, feasibility studies and a combination of engineering, procurement and/or construction services, for projects ranging from high-voltage transmission infrastructure (up to 800 KV and HVDC expertise up to +/- 600 KV DC), to related automation and telecommunication subsystems.

Mr. St-Arnaud has more than 35 years of international experience with high technology and high value-added manufacturing and engineering companies, including as CEO of SR Telecom and senior executive roles at Hydro-Québec and ABB. He has acted as President and General Manager of ABB France for the past four years. At ABB, Mr. St-Arnaud developed and implemented innovative strategies which resulted in higher customer satisfaction levels, profitability and quality of project execution.

Mr. St-Arnaud holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the École Polytechnique de Montréal, and a Master's of Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also a Member of the Quebec Order of Engineers.
