| Arcadis announces new appointment Arcadis (Euronext: ARCAD), the leading global natural and built asset design and consultancy firm, announced that Mr. Niek Hoek will succeed Mr. Rijnhard van Tets as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Arcadis. Mr. Hoek has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Arcadis since 2013. He will assume his new role after stepping down as the CEO of Delta Lloyd NV, as announced by Delta Lloyd yesterday. More precisely he will start as soon as his successor at Delta Lloyd has been selected and worked in, but at the latest in May 2015. Because Mr. Van Tets will step down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at the end of his third and final term in May 2014, Mr Maarten Schönfeld has graciously accepted to act as Interim Chairman for the period in between Mr. van Tets' departure and the stepping up of Mr. Hoek. Mr. Schönfeld has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Arcadis since 2008 and is the Chair of the Audit Committee. Mr. Van Tets has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Arcadis for a period of 10 years, and a member of its Supervisory Board for 12 years.
