Ulf Nordfjell win gold medal in the Chelsea Flower show

Nordic civil engineering giant Ramboll said the renowned landscape architect from Ramboll in Sweden, Ulf Nordfjell, recently won his third gold medal in the Chelsea Flower show – the world's most prestigious garden exhibition.

The Royal Horticulture Society organises the Chelsea Flower Show annually, with this year marking the exhibition's 100th anniversary. This year was Ulf Nordfjell's third time at the show, where he has previously won two gold medals and Best in Show, a unique achievement for a landscape architect from outside of the UK. This time he was rewarded with a goal medal for his commemorative garden design for French champagne house Laurent – Perrier.

Winning the Gold Medal was another of his highlights:

"Being awarded a Gold Medal means a great deal from an international perspective. In Sweden, horticulture is not as widespread or well-represented as in the UK, and just being invited to design a garden at the Chelsea Flower Show by a high profile sponsor is an honour", Ulf Nordfjell explained.

Ulf Nordfjell previously took part in the Chelsea Flower Show in 2007 and 2009 and won gold medals for his contributions, and in 2009 he won Best in Show. This is his third gold medal in the prestigious garden exhibition.
