| ISCE premiers in October The Portuguese Association of Steel and Composite Construction (CMM - Associação Portuguesa de Construção Metálica e Mista) is organizing what will be the first major international exhibition in Portugal, devoted exclusively to the field of steel and composite construction. ISCE 2013 - International Steel Construction Exhibition will take place from 23 to 26 October 2013, at EXPONOR, in other words it will run alongside CONCRETA - International Exhibition of Construction for a Sustainable Urban Regeneration. According to CMM, ISCE aims to "promote steel and composite construction in an international context, focusing on the Iberian Peninsula, southern European countries, and Lusophone countries, while not overlooking the industrial, productive, scientific and technical perspectives of Metal Construction". Running alongside ISCE 2013 will be the 9th Congress on Steel and Composite Construction, a biannual event organized by CMM that brings together the leading Portuguese people in this sector, and the 1st Luso-Brazilian Congress on Steel and Composite Construction.
