Alain-Pierre Raynaud named CFO of SNC-Lavalin

SNC-Lavalin (TSX: SNC) announced that Alain-Pierre Raynaud will become its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and member of the Office of the President effective June 1, 2013, and will be based at the Company's Head Office in Montreal.

Mr. Raynaud is a graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques in Paris and holds a doctorate in Economics. He has spent 32 years in the energy, automotive and banking sectors, gaining considerable international experience with major global corporations specializing in project management in Europe and Asia.

Mr. Raynaud began his career as a financial analyst before moving to Renault in 1987, where he later became Senior Vice-President and Corporate Controller. In 2003, he moved to Japan as a member of Nissan's Executive Committee to oversee the group's Cost Control and IT services departments and lead its financial operations. Between 2006 and 2011, Mr. Raynaud was CFO of Areva, where he successfully oversaw the implementation of the company's change management program, which included organizational restructuring, supply chain optimization and a new investment plan. He was subsequently named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Areva UK.

Mr. Raynaud follows Gilles Laramée as SNC-Lavalin's CFO. Mr. Laramée now continues exclusively in the role of Executive Vice-President for the Company's Infrastructure, Concessions and Investments business unit. He will provide assistance to Mr. Raynaud as required to ensure a smooth transition over the coming months.
