Grove GMK4100L delivered to Firmengruppe Ziegler

German crane and lifting company Firmengruppe Ziegler has taken delivery of a Grove GMK4100L all-terrain crane. The crane adds a mid-range 100 t capacity unit to the company's expanding fleet, which will include eight Grove cranes by the end of the year. Based at the Firmengruppe Ziegler facility in Würburg, central Germany, the GMK4100L will be used in a wide variety of general construction projects in the surrounding area. The crane is the second of three deliveries from Grove this year. Ziegler received a GMK5130-2 in August and a GMK6300L will arrive in December.

Alex Gagarin, general manager of Ziegler, said the company is keen to expand its range of Grove cranes for their performance and the support that comes with them.

"As we expand our range of Grove mobile cranes, we are developing our relationship with Manitowoc and making use of the company's support services," he says. "We are very confident in how the cranes perform and we have confidence in the company."

The GMK4100L features a 60 m boom on a compact four-axle carrier that can travel on most highways in Germany without the need for special permits. The crane is highly maneuverable and can reach almost any job site thanks to the MEGATRAK suspension system and all-wheel steer.
