Dutch Arcadis announces new appointment

Arcadis (EURONEXT: ARCAD), a leading international consultancy, design, engineering and management services company, announced that it has appointed Roland van Dijk to the position of Director Mergers and Acquisitions per 10 December 2012. In this role he will focus on the further expansion of Arcadis in line with the company's overall strategy. He will work closely together with Craig Eisen, who has been the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for Arcadis since 2002 and who will now focus on expansion in the United States and select international opportunities.

Roland van Dijk (42) comes to Arcadis from Fokker Technologies, where since 2008 he was President of Fokker Services responsible for the global service activities and member of the Executive Board. Between 2004 and 2008, he was Director Corporate Strategy and M&A of Stork, a diversified Dutch-based international technology company. Prior to that he held several other management positions in Stork subsidiaries. Roland van Dijk completed his Master of Business Administration degree at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France in 1999 and holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.
