| Colas Rail wins contract for the extension of Line 1 on Algiers metro As part of a consortium with KOU.G.C., Colas Rail was awarded a contract involving the extension of Line 1 on the Algiers metro between Haļ El Badr and El Harrach-Centre stations. The project includes the construction of the entire transport system and 4 new stations along a total of 4 km of line. Colas Rail, the project leader, will lay the track and the third rail, in addition to installing electrical supply, low voltage equipment, tunnel ventilation and the ticketing system. The entire contract value amounts to 85 million euros, slightly more than one half of which is earmarked for Colas Rail.
