Atkins’ Olympic Park film wins international award at BAFTA

Atkins' film 'Park Voices' which tells the story of the Olympic Park transformation through the virtual eyes of elements such as the River Lee and 'Rick' the recycled brick has won a major new international film award presented at BAFTA in London.

The film was produced in partnership with local film-makers and actors from Hackney, one of London's East End councils which will be responsible for managing the Park from 2013. It was created to appeal to a broad cross-section of the public with a particular focus on use as an educational tool.

It was named 'Environment film 2012' in the tv/e (television for the environment) corporate sustainability awards. This is the first time the awards have been run and they attracted entries from some of the world's biggest companies including Astra Zeneca, KPMG and Bloomberg.
