Jacobs wins contract by INEOS Enterprises

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced that it has been awarded a design and fabrication contract by INEOS Enterprises Ltd for two gas-gas heat exchangers to be installed in a sulfuric acid plant at its Runcorn, Cheshire site in the United Kingdom.

INEOS Enterprises selected Jacobs' proprietary Chemetics radial flow gas-gas heat exchanger design over other available designs on the basis that it provides the most appropriate design and technical solution for INEOS Enterprises' plant. The equipment is expected to be fabricated at Jacobs' facility in Pickering, Ontario.

INEOS Enterprises consists of a portfolio of eleven businesses manufacturing chemicals throughout Europe, with sales to customers around the world. Its diverse product portfolio includes a number of leading market brands; serves a wide range of industry sectors with applications in agriculture, food and drink, automotive, personal care, pharmaceuticals, construction and technology; and supplies intermediates in the production of other chemical products.
