The 2012 edition of Eolica Expo Mediterranean, the fair and conference on wind energy in the Mediterranean area, which will take place from 5 to 7 September at Fiera di Roma during ZeroEmission Rome (the important fair on renewables), will have a highly international character.

On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the event, in fact, there will be numerous delegations from all areas of the world, which will have a special dedicated area.

For example, participation of delegations from Albania, Argentina, Australia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, Jordan, Israele, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and South Africa is expected, who will present investment opportunities of their countries at the fair.

Participants will be highly qualified: Serbia, for example, will be represented by Siepa (Serbia Investment and Export Promotion Agency), a governmental organization that aims at promoting the activities of international investors and buyers, supplying information and assistance. Sipea, which is developing projects regarding wind energy and other renewable sources in Serbia, will also have a stand at the fair.

Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2012 will take place in collaboration with Anev (National Wind Energy Association). This year, the event will also host Aaee, the Argentinean Wind Energy Association, which has set up an agreement with Artenergy Publishing for the creation of Eolica Argentina, to take place from 3 to 5 July 2012 at La Rural, Predio Ferial fair centre in Buenos Aires. The presence of Aaee at Eolica Expo Mediterranean 2012 will be an opportunity for operators of the sector to test the new possibilities of business in the South American country, which has particularly favourable geo-climatic conditions: 70% of the territory, in fact, has constant strong wind.
