Mott MacDonald wins RoSPA health and safety award

For the fourth consecutive year, UK-based engineering firm Mott MacDonald has had its approach to the prevention of accidents and ill health recognised in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2012. The prestigious Gold award was presented at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, at the National Exhibition Centre, on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. It recognises commitment made by a company to accident prevention and good health in the workplace.

The headline sponsor for the RoSPA Awards 2012 is NEBOSH the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health.

Three days of award ceremonies and three gala evening dinners were held in Birmingham from May 15-17, alongside Safety and Health Expo 2012, which is Europe's leading annual health and safety exhibition. An award ceremony and gala dinner will also take place in Glasgow on September 20.
