High bay lighting option for various lighting application

Lusio Solid-State Lighting's increased depth of product offerings coupled with corporate initiatives to reduce energy consumption has resulted in growing demand for Lusio LED fixtures in applications such as warehouses, laboratories, cold storage facilities, high ceiling commercial spaces, manufacturing facilities, convention centers, and retail and showroom areas.
Earlier this year Lusio Solid-State Lighting announced the broad release of its newest line of fixtures, the Lusio Essentials Bay Series. Designed for cost conscious applications, the Lusio Essentials Bay Series includes models that use up to 60% less energy than traditional metal halide and fluorescent fixtures while delivering high lumens and high efficacies.

Combined with the Lusio Pro-Optics Series, Lusio Solid-State Lighting has delivered approximately 100 million lumens worth of its LED high bay products, enough to light about 7 million square feet of commercial and industrial space at typical footcandle levels. Additionally, the Lusio fixtures will save its customers an estimated 14,722 kilowatt hours or 10.2 metric tons of carbon compared to traditional fluorescent or HID fixtures.

According to the Department of Energy's report Energy Savings Potential of Solid-State Lighting in General Illumination Applications (January 2012), LED lighting in general illumination applications has the potential to reduce U.S. lighting energy consumption by nearly one half. The report forecasts the energy savings potential of LED white light sources as compared to conventional white light sources (i.e., incandescent, halogen, fluorescent and high intensity discharge). During the 20-year analysis period (2010–2030), the cumulative energy savings is estimated to be 2,700 terawatt-hours, representing approximately $250 billion at today's energy prices. Assuming the electric power plant generating mix is held constant over the next two decades, these savings would reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 1,800 million metric tons of carbon.

"We're thrilled with the growth we've seen and our ability to provide a superior high bay lighting option for any commercial or industrial lighting application, including those where budget is a driving factor," said Tom Stafford, President and CEO of Lusio Solid-State Lighting. "Growing demand clearly exists for flexible, controllable LED lighting solutions with fast paybacks, and that's exactly what we deliver."
