URS wins contract for NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk

URS Corporation has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract from the NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk to provide support of core capabilities of Information Operations and Information Assurance (IO/IA). These include electronic warfare, computer network operations, psychological operations, military deception and operations security.

Under the terms of the contract, URS will provide professional, technical and subject- matter expertise to all core areas of IO/IA to include training for U.S. Navy personnel, computer network operations, planning support for IO/IA strategic and tactical operations plans, and real-time support for deployed IO operational forces. URS also will provide functional data management services, identification and documentation of IO requirements, experimentation for tactics evaluation and operational doctrine development, systems assessment for Navy and joint service IO software and hardware, as well as information technology management and administration, and other management and technical services as required.
