New generation bamboo flooring

MOSO launches its new collections on the Domotex 2012, the largest European flooring trade show. Whereas bamboo floors are still perceived as being exclusive and trendy, the latest generation of bamboo floors now also come within reach of the mainstream consumer. The new collections of MOSO feature dozens of different flooring types, each with an enormous variation in colours, styles and finishes. Arjen Veltman, commercial director of MOSO International: 'Bamboo is increasingly recognised as a sustainable product. Where in the beginning only trendsetting consumers bought bamboo floors, there now is a bamboo floor available for any dwelling or office. The increasing demand for bamboo is partly explained by the fact that the contemporary consumer increasingly includes sustainability as purchasing criterion. Another reason is the very diverse assortment of bamboo flooring that can now be offered due to technological developments. Where bamboo floors at first only were available in the caramel or natural versions, now there are also stained, brushed and coloured versions available, each with a different price tag. We can now fully confident claim that there is a bamboo floor available for everyone'.
