Arcadis lands new contracts in Poland

Netherlands-based Arcadis, the international design, consulting, engineering and management services company, announced that it has won contracts for project management and construction supervision of two expressway sections in Poland. The client for both projects is the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways of Poland. The combined value of the contracts totals € 8 million of which € 6 million is for Arcadis. Both projects are co-financed by the European Union in the framework of the Infrastructure and Environment Operational Program.

Arcadis will supervise a total of more than 60 km of road construction – approximately 20 km of the S2 expressway from the junction "Konotopa" to the junction "Airport", as well as 43 km of the S3 expressway between Gorzów Wielkopolski and Nowa Sól along Poland's western border. The section of the S2 expressway, which constitutes a portion of Warsaw's southern bypass, will be supervised in cooperation with Egis as part of a consortium led by Arcadis.
