Cairo-based Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) confirmed that Six Construct Qatar (a fully owned subsidiary of the Besix Group, Belgium's largest construction company, which is 50%-owned by OCI) has been awarded a US$ 750 million contract to build Phase III of the New Doha International Airport (NDIA) Passenger Terminal Complex in joint venture with the Midmac Contracting Co. Six Construct Qatar's share of the contract is approximately US$ 375 million or 50% of the total contract value.
