Parsons wins NAVFAC Atlantic planning contract

Parsons announced that it was selected by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic for a planning and engineering services contract for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps facilities and other government facilities worldwide. This five-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract includes one base year with four option years and has an expected completion date of March 2015.

The contract includes planning and engineering services for Navy and Marine Corps facility projects, including preparation of plans, project-planning documents, cost estimates, planning studies, planning for facility visioning and scenario workshops, and geospatial information services. The primary location of tasks will be the NAVFAC Atlantic area of responsibility on the eastern U.S. coast, but work will also be performed in Mississippi, Arizona, and California, and may be assigned anywhere in the world.
