Strabag wins contract for rehabilitation works in Belgrade

The Serbian company Putevi Srbije awarded Austrian construction company Strabag with the complete rehabilitation of Gazela Bridge, the most important highway bridge over the Sava river. It conects Novi Belgrade with Belgrade and is one of the most important bridges of Euroe on paneuropean Corridor 10. The construction period is expected to be 22 months. The construction works will approximately start beginning of April 2010, the end date will be May 2012. The bridge itself is a steel bridge with 332 m lenghs and 27.5 m wides, three lanes in both directions. Included in the contract will be the rehabilitation of the concrete approach rampes.
