France's Eiffage posts 2009 results

After 11 years of sustained growth, consolidated sales remained flat in 2009 at €13.2bn, with the acquisition of Clemessy and Crystal offsetting the downturn in Eiffage's works activities at their 2008 scope (-7%), observed from the second half of 2008. For its part, the Concessions activity again showed firm resistance, achieving a 1.6% increase in sales in a difficult environment.

Eiffage SA recorded a net profit of €240m in 2009 compared with €388m in 2008. At the General Meeting that will be held on 21 April 2010, the Board of Directors will propose an unchanged dividend of €1.20 per share.
