New conference & trade fair for bioenergy in Brussels

With the growing importance of bioenergy in Europe the European Biomass Association AEBIOM and the REECO Group have pooled together to organize an international trade fair and conference for bioenergy – RENEXPO Bioenergy EUROPE & AEBIOM European Bioenergy Conference. It will take place from June 30th – July 1st, 2010 at Albert Hall in Brussels, Belgium.

The REECO Group, trade fair and conference organizer with its headquarters in Germany, has also recognized that the improvement and further spread of bioenergy is a task for Europe as a whole.

After successfully executing trade fairs and conferences dealing with the topics of renewable energy and energy-efficient building and renovation in Germany and in Central and South East Europe, REECO is now heading for the European capital – Brussels.

For this task REECO is cooperating with AEBIOM, the European Biomass Association, which will organize the AEBIOM European Bioenergy Conference. The conference will be a platform for market actors to exchange ideas and information as well as a discussion forum for policy makers. The participants will receive updates on ongoing EU legislation and gain an overview of the latest developments of the bioenergy market and the state of the National Renewable Energy Action Plans.

Topics will include biogas, biofuels, heating and electricity.

At the same time the premiere of RENEXPO Bioenergy EUROPE will take place. Around 30 international exhibitors from the fields of production, planning, and energy supply, as well as experts from research and development, associations, media, governmental agencies and administrations are expected to participate in the trade fair. There they will present their products, services and latest innovations to an estimated 500 visitors and 300 conference participants.
