| Skanska secures major project in East London Skanska is to provide the mechanical and electrical installations for a major sports venue project in the east of London. The contract amount totals GBP 54 M, approximately SEK 620 M, which will be included in order bookings for the fourth quarter. The customer is Carillion, who is responsible for the overall delivery of the project. Skanska will be responsible for the design, procurement and construction of all of the mechanical and electrical installations in two buildings as part of the complex. The two buildings comprise a total of 86,000 square meters. In cooperation with the main contractor, there will also be a focus on a safe work environment and minimized injuries using the motto, Going for Gold.
