Manitowoc's new Grove industrial crane

Visitors to the International Construction and Utility Equipment Expo in Louisville, Ky., will have the chance to see the latest addition to the Grove YardBoss industrial crane line – the YB7725. This 25 USt capacity industrial crane features a 71 ft four-section boom with a 17 ft offsettable swingaway extension. The crane also has a 15 USt deck carrying capacity that allows users to carry materials around the yard or facility. Tom McCallum, director of industrial crane sales at Manitowoc, said this new crane is designed with operator comfort and ease of use in mind. "The upper section of the door swings out to allow more room in the cab," he said. "And a tilt steering wheel and smoother operating joysticks have been added for easier operation."

The Grove YB7725 is equipped with a four-position pivoting boom head for low headroom clearance. The new crane has beam jack-style outriggers that can be extended or retracted at the same time. For improved maintenance on the new industrial crane, O-Ring Face Seal hydraulic fittings are used.

It has standard four-wheel drive and four-wheel steer as well as crab steer with electronic self-alignment. The 25 USt crane will also be available in Manitowoc's Shuttlelift product line as the CD7725.
