| Solutia invests in Ghent facility Chemical products maker Solutia will upgrade its facility in Ghent, Belgium to produce multi-layer 3.2-meter-wide rolls of Saflex Q series advanced acoustic PVB sheet. The expansion will serve the fast growing acoustic glazing architectural market in Europe and Asia, building on the current acoustic production capacity in Santo Toribio, Mexico. Saflex Q series advanced acoustic interlayer products provide state-of-the-art acoustical damping and sound control with all of the safety and security benefits of traditional laminated glass.
