BAM Deutschland to build a ministry complex in Stuttgart

BAM Deutschland AG (Dutch construction giant Royal BAM Group's German operating company, which specialises in non-residential projects) has been awarded the turnkey contract to build a ministry complex in Stuttgart to house several government departments of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. The contract value is over €50 million. BAM Deutschland will complete this project for the client, Landesstiftung Baden-Württemberg gGmbH, in mid 2011.

The ministry building (33,000 m²) has been designed by Staab Architekten GvAmbH of Berlin and will provide accommodation for the Home Department and parts of the departments for the Environment and Regional Development.
