| Baker announces results for second quarter of 2009 Michael Baker Corp, a top US engineering and construction consulting firm, announced its financial results for the second quarter and first six months of 2009. For the quarter, Baker reported net income of $7.0 million, or $0.79 per diluted common share, on revenues of $164.3 million, compared to net income of $8.3 million, or $0.93 per diluted common share, on revenues of $170.9 million in the second quarter of 2008.
