Hochtief Construction builds new head-quarters for Nordex

Hochtief Construction has concluded a long-term lease agreement with Nordex for a new office building: The Hochtief subsidiary is expected to complete the new headquarters for the wind turbine manufacturer by the end of 2010 on the grounds of the former Ochsenzoll hospital in Hamburg. Nordex has leased the entire building and will bundle its distribution and administrative activities there.

Hochtief Construction won the contract for the new headquarters in 2008. The three-winged building with a gross floor area of 15,200 square meters will be constructed on a 10,000 square meter lot directly adjacent to Hamburg Airport. Apart from office space, conference and communications rooms and an underground car park for 179 cars are also planned.
