Punj Lloyd secures infrastructure contracts for utilities in Libya

Indian engineering and construction firm Punj Lloyd announced three new contract-wins valued at Rs 1873.18 crore (US $ 387.08 million). The contract will include designing, procurement, installation and commissioning of utilities for three towns of Libya. Awarded by the Housing and Infrastructure Board, these contracts are scheduled for completion within 48 months.

The scope of work for the three projects includes design, procurement, installation and commissioning of utilities at Zawara, Ragdaleen and Al Jamail Towns. Utilities for these three projects consist of developing roads, networks for drinking water, sewage water and storm water, electrical and telecommunication work.
