| ABB wins power plant equipment order in Egypt Swiss ABB, the leading power and automation technology group, has won an order worth $31 million from West Delta Electricity Production Company in Alexandria for products to equip a new power plant that will help meet growing demand for electricity in Egypt. ABB will provide engineering expertise and power products including various types of transformers as well as generator circuit breakers. The Abu Qir thermal plant will be powered by two 650-megawatt steam generators.
