New rhythms for Trespa perspectives concept

Trespa International has launched four new design concepts for building façades, using Trespa Meteon panels. The new concepts are a part of Trespa Perspectives, the inspirational source of new ideas for architects, designers and specifiers, comprising different architectural elements based on the themes of Rhythm, Depth and Character. All four new concepts fall within the theme of Rhythm. The four new concepts demonstrate how Trespa Meteon panels can be used to create a decorative skin that help to create a unique façade. By using the panels to create extra skins and sunblinds that envelope the building, its overall appearance can be changed and enhanced.

Each of the four new concepts suggests a different approach. They range from twisted panels to create sunblinds that show regular or irregular colour patterns to the use of space or multiple layered constructions for unique visual effects.

There are two sides to everything. The Helix concept enables you to turn things around, revealing what is behind the surface. By using twisted panels as sunblinds or decorative elements, regular patterns can be created, or broken, so there is always a visual surprise around the corner.

Using panels with cut-aways or indentations, forms can be created by omitting the expected. The wave concept enables you to draw attention to the overall design and give shape to the empty space that is left behind.

The surface may be only skin-deep, it usually hides what lies beneath. Not so in the skin concept, where beauty is created through showing – or hinting at – the layers beyond. By using two or more layers of Trespa panels with a pattern, you can create a unique visual spectacle.

There is no right direction. The Domino concept uses panels that point in different directions all at once. Nothing is ever as straightforward as it seems – and there are many ways to achieve the unexpected.

Frank Smolenaers, Market Manager Façade Systems of Trespa International, explains: "Trespa produces a range of panels with exceptional qualities. Trespa Meteon is a unique material that allows architects and designers to create expressive and eye-catching façades."

In addition, Trespa Meteon panels are colourfast and impact resistant, so the design will remain the way it was intended for many years. Trespa offers sustainability and durability in combination with a responsible approach to environmental and economic aspects.
