IST awarded two contracts totaling $20 million

Aecon, one of Canada's largest construction companies, announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Innovative Steam Technologies (IST), has been awarded two contracts valued at over $20 million to supply its Once-Through Steam Generator units to Nova Scotia Power Incorporated and Holmen Paper's Peninsular Cogeneration in Spain.

IST will design and supply two OTSG units to the Tufts Cove Thermal Generating Station in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The units are scheduled for an April 2010 delivery.

Under the terms of the second contract, IST will design and supply one OTSG unit to Peninsular Cogeneration, located at a paper mill in Madrid, Spain and co-owned by Holmen Paper and Iberdrola's Energy Works. This is IST's sixth unit in Spain, and it is scheduled for a November 2009 delivery.
