Arkády Pankrác wins award for best center development

Only a few weeks after its opening on November 14, the shopping gallery Arkády Pankrác in Prague receives its first award: the Construction & Investment Journal has elected it as "Best Shopping Center Development 2008" in the Czech Republic. The center of ECE and Unibail-Rodamco convinced the jury not only with its size – around 45,000 sqm – but above all with a promising tenant mix, an easily navigable layout and an excellent public transportation accessibility. The time after the opening was a great success: in the first five days alone, almost 250,000 people visited the center.

In Arkády Pankrác, around 140 shops present themselves on three retail floors, among others the fashion stores Peek & Cloppenburg, H&M, New Yorker and Zara as well as a consumer electronics market and a large supermarket. Many Czech and international retailers, including some names new to the Czech Republic, offer a wide variety of goods and services.

Arkády Pankrác, which are situated among residential and office buildings in the district Pankrác, close to the inner city, have an excellent transport connection: right outside the shopping gallery there are bus stops served by several routes and in the basement there is direct access to the metro. Around 1100 parking spaces are available for car drivers who can reach the center by the easy route along the freeway.
