Cegelec to provide infrastructure for hospital outside Paris

French electrical engineering firm Cegelec has been chosen to provide the electrical infrastructure and fire protection system for the new Lagny-Marne la Vallée hospital in the eastern suburbs of Paris. The €18-million contract will be executed over the next three years.

The new 76,000-square-meter hospital complex will have a capacity of 585 beds and comprise a four-storey medical-surgery-obstetrics and psychiatry building and a two-storey logistics building housing utilities and support services. Cegelec will install all of the project's power and data wiring, as well as emergency lighting and fire protection systems.
